Monitor goes in sleep mode

Dear members,

I am having problem in my fedora 8. I want to run this sytem 24/7 but monitor goes in sleep mode after 3 hours.I have disabled sleep mode in power management preferences.
In BIOS i have no option for disabling power saver.
could any one please help me ?

it doesn't matter if the monitor goes in sleep you've only to check that the CPU still working

but i want to play video on the system 24/7 and without display it is useless......
