Wireless connection is not re-established after suspension/hibernation

Whenever I resume my hp pavillion 6500 laptop (BCM 4311) from hibernation or suspension, the wireless connection is not resumed. The NM applet just says 'no wireless connection', and my wlan is not on the list of available networks.

When I try to reconnect to my wireless network manually, I am asked for the password for the default keyring first, and then the NM applet begins to ask for my wireless secrets continually, but won't ever connect even though I keep typing in the correct wireless key.

To re-establish the connection I have either to reboot or do the following:

rmmod b43
modprobe b43
service NetworkManager restart

and wait a few seconds.

Sometimes, logging out and logging in again helps, but I have an impression that it happens randomly.

This is all weird, because I have never had this issue before, at least after F10 installation and until a few months into using it.

I run fedora 10 with all available updates installed (as of 16 Feb. 2009).

Any ideas?

Regards,

Kamil
