Fedora 10: How do you go into rescue mode?

I cannot figure out how to get into single user mode or rescue mode using fedora 10. The password has been lost for the root account. In other versions of fedora I know you could boot the setup CD and type linux rescue or you could go into grub and edit the run level. I cannot do either in Fedora 10. What gives?

can you type 'e' at the grub boot menu?

If so add a 'S' to the kernel arguements, then hit 'b' , to boot into the kernel.

Then you will be in single user mode and can reset the root password.

I ended up finding the rescue mode but it cannot be accessed from livecd only from the regular cd disk.

You could always download just the first of the 6 CDs, and use it from there.

When you boot it, one of the options is rescue.
