Exclamation NVidia seems off color when playing video...

Hi,everyone.
I have NVidia 180.25 installed on my PC for my GeForce 8500 GT card.
Nevertheless, whenever I play a dvd or an .avi file, the picture is totally off color(somehow green and grey).I go to Applications-->System Tools-->NVidia Display Settings, and by just clicking on it,the color comes back,as natural as ever. This only happens during video playback.
What's that?
Do I have to uninstall the NVidia drivers?
Many thanks.
