Unhappy Not able to hibernate laptop

Hello guys..I am using FC10 in my dell inspiron..The problem is when i hibernate or put it into sleep..It hibernates or sleeps well but when i restore the session, a black screen is being displayed but nothing happens after that..I have to hard reboot my system..Please tell me how to solve this..
Except this every thing is awesome..Fedora 10 \m/

sorry i for got to mention something..It happens only in gnome but not in kde..
