A weird open office update?

I am using Fedora 10.
So right now I have this update called "UNO Runtime Environment. It seems to be an update for open office. Every time I install this update, my open office won't work anymore, when I click the icon of open office, nothing happens. So I had to remove open office and reinstall.
Now this update keeps appearing, is there anyway I can set it to never show this update?
Or any reason why this update makes open office not working?

And by the way, I am using a laptop, can I set it up so every time I close the lid, I will be logged out automatically?

Thank you.

Did you install OO from the repo's or from Openoffice.org? If you have the version lock plugin for yum you can add OO to your list.
