Lock/Unlock CD/DVD Eject Button

To prevent damage to my tray from my kids, is there a utility to lock and unlock my eject button? Whether or not media is present?

I don't want to change a drive jumper, or remove the button, but just a utility to lock and unlock the eject button.

Thanks.
