Unhappy Automatic updates fail after upgrade to FC10

I upgraded to FC10 from FC9 recently and after that the automatic updates are failing. The reasn is that it is always looking for the fc9 version of the software. For example it looks for firefox.xxx.fc9.rpm rather than firefox.xxx.fc10.rpm. Similarly gecko-libs, kdevelop and other updates are failing because of the confusion between fc9 and fc10. I did a yum clean all and yum update to no avail. Please help!
