i cant install fedora 10 on my new computer

the display is to big for the monitor so i can not see all the buttons i need to click with my mouse. how can i get around this?

It has a gforce video card that is on the main board.

Can you try "Text mode Installation"?
When you boot your machine from a CD/DVD linux prompt comes up.
Instead of hitting ENTER at this, try entering "linux text" ( for actual string please read documentation on screen displayed at the time )
You should be able to enter in the "Text Mode instllation" which might be better than the Graphical one.

Thanks i will try that. looks like the video card in my new computer is vga only

it will tell you how to set the video display resolution if you poke around the install screen some with function keys.
Command should be something like.
linux vesa 800x600

But usually just doing install with linux vesa will make it run right.

thanks. i got it installing right now. I guess for 150.00 i paid for the amd 64 x2 bear bones computer i should not have expected a good video card.

also the nvidia main board wont work with ati video cards.

Thanks linux vesa worked. linux text worked but it was text only after the install.
