Hi @all,
first, I'm new to fedora and rpm-distributions in general. I have used just debian and debian-based distributions for years. I'm very impressed of F10 and the KDE4-Desktop but I have some questions concerning some build-stuff.
Most of the things on my Lenovo N100 works oob but for Webcam (Microdia) and Fingerprint it seems that I have to build my own drivers.
So, for example, I read this site:
http://groups.google.com/group/micro...a77e18ffb79a05 and I'm just a bit confused
How can I build this? What I have to do? I set up rpmbuild (Iread spme stuff about this) but I'm not able to build this driver. What's a SPEC? How to handle with this? Are there some "RPM-Newbies-Site" explaining this?
Or could someone help me to build this driver, so I just could the how to handle with this for the first time?
Thanx in advance for your help.
