I installed Netatalk, turned it on, approved port 548 for tcp and udp in the firewall - even turned the firewall off.
Cannot see the Linux computer from the Mac.
I didn't mess with any configuration files.
Any troubleshooting tips would be appreciated.

Mac 10.4.11
Both computers are hard wired through an Airport Base Station
The computers see each other through http.
