8gigs of memory & kernel PAE?

Do i need to install this kernel & if so how do i do it from a command prompt(black screen) I went to install video drivers via this post here http://forums.fedoraforum.org/showthread.php?t=201106 not sure how to fix all of this now, hehe. TY in advance.

Currently using kernel 2.6.26.5-45.fc9.x86_64 of a freshly installed & updated FC9

doing a yum install kernel-PAE does this:

Loaded plugins: refresh-packagekit
Setting up Install Process
Parsing package install arguments
No package kernel-pae availible.
Nothing to do
