Do i need to install this kernel & if so how do i do it from a command prompt(black screen) I went to install video drivers via this post here

Currently using kernel 2.6.26.5-45.fc9.x86_64 of a freshly installed & updated FC9
doing a yum install kernel-PAE does this:
