Post Unable to lunch CSS (Counter Strike Source)

Hi all,

I have a problem to lunch CSS. I'm able to lunch Steam and he is also able to connect to my account.
I can see my Games, Community & Friends all of this stuff. But when I'm trying too lunch a game he opens a window "Starting Counter Strike Source" but after that nothing happens.
I'm using wine-1.0-1.fc9.i386 and the latest Nvidia Driver for my Gcard NVIDIA Driver Version: 177.13.
Does anybody have a idea for this?

Thanks

Don't know anything about that particular game but I can suggest that you launch it from a terminal and not from the menu. That way there's a good possibility that you will see error output in the terminal that may aid you in diagnostics.

I'd say there's an issue with alsa. At least that's where I would start. I guess I'd be looking for answers in the wine forums and maybe any forums for the game as run under Linux / Wine.

Try running the game from the terminal as root. See if the error messages are still the same.
