Question FC3T1 mouse and keyboard problem on Intel SE7505VB2 Dual Xeons

I have installed the FCT3 to the Intel SE7505VB2 Dual Xeons machine. Installation is smooth. However, when comes to the first boot, the system can not find the keyboard. The mouse is also not working. These are both PS/2 type device. I can only use a usb keyboard and mouse instead.

Hmm, I tested FC3T1 on Dell Precision 650n (Dual Xeon) with PS/2 mouse and PS/2 keyboard this afternoon and they seemed to be working fine.

Try installing it again and file the bugzilla report if you believe this is a bug.

I think it is a bug because in Fedora Core 2 the same problem exists...
Maybe the problem lies on the motherboard...

I read this article this afternoon.

I wonder your motherboard is not Linux-friendly.

I reported this problem to the bugzilla, the fedora team thinks it is a bug in the se7505vb2, a simple solution would be to disable the usb legency support in the bios, and the keyboard works...
