VIA S3G graphics adapter not functioning

I am using a VIA S3G graphic card and a Samsung 14" monitor. However the graphic card was detected fine in Fedora 8.0, in fedora 9.0 i get a very bad resolution and I cannot even install the fedora 9.0 because the next and back buttons just went below the screen and I am not able to see the options to make a partition on my windows existing Windows machine. I cannot even see the next button or change any time zone settings etc.

Please assist.

Thanks!
Rajesh Adluri.

Please post detailed hardware specs, and describe exactly what you are doing - i.e., it sounds like you are stuck inside the installer because the GUI is rendering partially off screen.

Did you try to adjust the monitor settings (on the monitor itself) to bring the entire picture into view?

If necessary, you can try a text-mode installation, then fix the graphics later.
