Hello:
Re your pm

I believe this a console only app ?
you will have to configure from the cli
see man ushare
or the the home page for the project
http://ushare.geexbox.org/

Not exactly sure what your intended goal is ?
Is this related to streaming things to your xbox ?
Then take a few minutes and read through here:
http://linux.vanvalkinburgh.org/2007...atched-ushare/

Or if you are using vlc ?
Then you may want to ask on their forums ?
http://www.videolan.org/vlc/

Or have a look at this application ?

ushare -p 49153 -D -x -c /path/to/videos/

What you are doing here is:
specifying the port to be 49153
for the program to run as a daemon
run xbox compatible
and the content directory

Hope that helps some. Good luck. I am currently trying to transcode with vlc and serve with ushare. If I succeed, I'll be sure to post back.
