Yum Update - Exclude (?)

The last few weeks I've been having update issues with libraw1394 and it is a real pain in the butt to work around it. Is there a way to feed Yum a command line to do an update but exclude a particular package so the thing will pass the transaction check? I didn't see any obvious way to do this.

Thanks.

John

Hello:
You can edit your
/etc/yum.conf

and add

exclude=libraw1394

save, exit and do a yum clean all

and you should be good to go.

See the man page for yum.conf for more detailed information.
