Exclamation slocate quick search file .db rebuild command, what is?

what's the command to rebuild the quicksearch slocate database thing... i keep thinkin it's like
rebuilddb but thas not it... idk

  OPTIONS
       -u     Create slocate database starting at path /.
P.S. it's not makedb, but updatedb
