Evolution calendar events disappeared

I have been using Evolution for over 2years now without a problem. I only use it for the calendar functionality, all email is through Thunderbird.

Yesterday it gave an error along the lines of can't connect to Evolution data server - I didn't pay too much attention ebcause I have seen Evolution 'crash' a couple of times, but always kept working when I restarted it.

Now, when I re-open Evolution none of my calendar events are visible. When I click on the gnome clock/date, evololution's calendar drops down as normal, but does not show any events.

I thought a restart of the computer would fix this, but it didn't.

I am using the default FC4 yum package of Evolution 2.2.3 which I know is now quite old.

The odd thing is the evolution event reminders still pop up and tell me of the calendar event!! If I add a new calendar event it reminds me, but I can not see it in the calendar....

Any ideas?

Thanks for the help in advance.

Duh! OK, I fixed this

Feeling pretty stupid but the calendar name did not have the "tick" in it to display those events. I thought it would show these by default as it is the only calendar I use in EVolution, but clearly not

The crash must have reset this and not turned it on by default.

So problem solve,d and feeling pretty silly right aboutn now
