Remote Desktop Setup

I have a few computers on my network. I would like to be able to bring up remote sessions of certain computers from a couple primary computers.

I am researching the forum and am not too sure yet which programs are needed to make this happen. Is there a fedora package that allows for gui remote connections to be made over the network?

I have not attempted this before so I am building from scratch. I assume that I need to run a vnc-server type program on the host (windows) and a vnc-client type on the client computers. Are there freeware packages for either of these?

I found that the packages needed are vnc and vnc-server.

I am running a freeware vnc server program on the windows host and using vnc on the linux cient.

In Gnome sharing's easy:

yum install vino

Preferences > Remote Desktop.
