Error after upgrade from FC3 to FC4 with yum

After upgrading from FC3 to FC4 then rebooting the machine. It came out such an error message.

Can anybody help me how to solve it. I got data in this machine. Please don't spoil it. It' URGENT!!!

Here's the error message :

Checking root filesystem

fsck.ext2 : Is a directory while trying to open / [FAILED]

*** When you leave the shell.

*** Run 'setenforce 1' to reenable.

Give root password for maintenance
(or type Control-D to continue) :

It really looks like SELinux is out of sync with the file system.
First try to get the system up
setenforce=0 is already for re-boot
so command
shutdown -r now

If it comes up and things look good go to Security / Firewall gui on menu and
set enable
rellabel on re-boot
logoff (restart)

the relabeling of the file system will occur and SELinux will be back on.

If the first re-boot returns you to the same place,
then do the relabel first
su -
cd /
touch .autorelabel
shutdown -r now

if that doesn't do it, you may have a bad upgrade or a bad disk.
