Reading HFS+ partitions and running AAC files in FC4

Just got my dual boot powerbook G4 up and running with FC4 and Tiger. No I'm wondering how to be able to read HFS+ partitions and run AAC(non-DRM) in linux? I did a search on the forum and only came up with a How to on the AAC if running on a i686 machine. Going through my back issues of a couple magazines also to try and come up with something. I swear I've read something on AAC before but can't remember where. Any advice or answers would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
