S3 Savage MX/IX Driver for FC3

I am running an onboard S3 Savage MX/IX on my Toshiba Tecra 8100. I am not sure which one it is because it is always said to be MX/IX. FC3 provided me with a driver to get video, but it is not a good one because whenever I try to play TuxRacer everything is frozen and terribly laggy.

Does anyone know where I can get a better driver??
