Help with FC2 weirdness...

Hi, i'm running a dell 500 with 384 megs o' RAM, and a 10 Gb HDD Laptop. I can login as "root" and initialize my wlan card (xircom) and then I can surf.....BUT when I login as NOT ROOT (other user) the web browser 'dies" and won't start...even if I reboot....any ideas???

What steps do you use to initialize it?

Automate it: just edit /etc/rc.d/rc.local and add your commands to the end. That way the card won't die when root's processes are killed at logout.

thanks....But that's not ALL the weirdness, see even tho' I logout as Root, the card is STILL INITIALIZED !!
I appended the /etc/local file, but I still get some usability and "user" issues....
