Instant Message Gateway

Hello,

I've been searching for an IM Gateway/Proxy for linux and have not seen a lot yet. Does anyone have any experience with this? Can it be set up transparently? Something for AIM or Multiple Instant Message Clients (msn, yahoo...) Needs to have logging functionality and some access control features would be nice also.

Thanks

Jabber servers can have gateways, although I have not set one up myself.

I haven't tried it yet but ReAIM might be what you're looking for.
