Install onto USB iPod

I have a fourth generation iPod, and I was wondering if it is possible to install FC3 onto it as if it were a USB hard-drive. It obviously mimics an external hard-drive, so it seems doable... Anyone know for sure? And, does USB load first by default? I have Windows on my main hard-disk, but I can boot from USB.
