So long, and thanks for all the fish...

Well, this is the straw that broke the camel's back. With XM radio making XM online part of their standard subscription service on 4/2, I decided to try it in demo mode to see what it was like. It didn't work on my FC3 system, and I have Flash, java, realplayer, and all the codecs I could find installed. But it still didn't work. I put in the SimplyMEPIS 3.3 live CD, and it worked fine. So, I'm going to convert my remaining PCs at home and at work to MEPIS. I hope that how-tos that I wrote for FC1, FC2, and FC3 have been useful, and I wish you all well.

Tim

It's pretty sad to see an active member leave. After 806 posts?

At least you haven't left the cause. Good luck. I have heard good things about that Distro.
