gnucash installation

Hello

I tried installing gnucash on Fedora Core 1 on thursday. When I typed in ./configure it started the process fine however it wasn't long before certain files were not found and needed to be present in order to continue installing the program.

Some of the files that needed to be installed were

guile
g-wrap
and now having problems with a file ghtml file or something like that....I'm not at my computer at home right now, can't remember the exact name.

Just wondering why all these files aren't all on Fedora now.....and if there is one big package or update that would have all these files.

I had success with installing guile and g-wrap but not the last file, does anyone have any advice

Thanks
Scott

Gnucash is included on the Fedora CDs in an RPM. Just run the Redhat Add /Remove Applications program, you'll find it under the office category.

Which is under Main Menu > System Settings > Add/Remove Applications if your wondering. Isn't it nice when things come in pre-built rpms?

Plus because it's on the Fedora Core CD, there won't be any dependency problems.

Or to get the shiny new version of Gnucash (if it is out) then try doing a
Code:
yum install gnucash
(you might have to add the fedora.us repo to get that to work though)
