Rosegarden / dssi 0.9 / jack in 32 bit possible in FC2

Hi!

I'm still trying to get my audio workstation working on Fedora Core 2 x86_64

I have succeeded to get jack-audio-connection-kit 0.99 running properly with my FC2 box by compiling the 2.6.9 kernel with pre-emptive options, CONFIG_SECURITY_CAPABILITIES=m and loading realtime-lsm 0.1.1. Although I had to disable the mobo's internal audio and use SB Audigy on PCI slot 4. Internal audio resulted in huge amounts of XRuns (ASUS K8V Deluxe SE mobo)

So. Jack is working perfectly and Ardour is working ok. Rosegarden is compiling ok, but there's no sound / patches and I can't see / use any plugins.

Main reason for thet plugin problem is that even I have been able to compile dssi 0.9 by tweaking the makefiles to use -fPIC compiler option and by manually compiling message_buffer.c dssi still refuses to work properly.

trivial_synth starts up ok with jack-dssi-host but there's no gui.
less_trivial_synth complains about bad address (No, my firewall does not block lo and the hostname that is in address is resolved by hosts -file and is pointing to 127.0.0.1)

So. My question still is has anyone had a success getting dssi working in FC2 x86_64. Would it be possible to get them working in 32bit on FC2 x86_64 and how tricky it would be to get the configure scripts and makefiles to compile the software in 32bit mode?

Best Regards:
