[SOLVED] Flash won't work in firefox 13 (FC17)

I just did a fresh install and flash isn't working in firefox. I formatted the main / drive, started with a new username so that there aren't any conflicts with past preferences.(flash was a problem before)

I only made a handful of changes as follows:

In installed policycoreutils-gui so I could disable SELinux, because I've seen it conflict with flash before.
I changed the screen resolution to 1152x864.

I rebooted twice - once inbetween the install of policycoreutils and again after installing mozilla and the flash plugin.

What do I need to do to get flash working?

It's an AthlonXP. the flashplugin is

flash-plugin-11.2.202.236-release.i386

'yum update' complete, still not working.

Flash version 11.2 needs sse2 instructions that AthlonXP doesn't provide.
Remove it and install version 10.3.183.20 from http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/...-versions.html

Seems as if we're on the same page, having the same idea that a downgrade is what's needed. I've found that 11.1 something or another works.
