crack files in system ? !

During my recent configuration of FC2 i noticed some files:

unknown filetype

there were 3 and they had names with crack...

I persevered with the how to i was following intending to check them out later but now i cant find them any more! i got FC2 from bittorrent. At least one file is corrupted (russian language support.)

i noticed them in /etc or /usr etc or somwhere.

sorry the detail is so lame. Should i be concerned?

Have you checked the md5 hashes of the filed you've downloaded?

With the command

locate crack

you can try to find them. I have done the locate crack at my system and the only files, which were found were all belonging to /usr/share/doc/cracklib-2.7 .

I am concerned but i dont feel too worried coz i ran a rootkit checker with my previous installation and it was clear, and i a used the same CDs again.
