Dual Boot F17 on MacBook

Hi

I run a Dual Boot with Win 7 on my Lenovo laptop, which i recently swapped for a MacBook pro, I want to dual boot the Mac with Fedora 17 - I read an article on a few fixes that were done to support booting MacBooks,

This is a late 2011 MacBook - Intel Core i7, AMD Radeon Graphics

Is dual boot possible? When I first got this mac, I tried using a F17 cd- but that didnt boot at all - I didnt check if there was an issue with the CD (which we made on a different Macbook) or if boot was not possible itself.

Later the Mac ended up with a HDD problem (Would you believe, we forgot the password and trying to recover it bricked the HDD!!!) - I've not got a fresh HDD with Lion but I really prefer Fedora

Thanks
Anup
