What does beesu need for the password box?

I've installed F17 from the minimal system and I'm building it up.
I've installed beesu but it works only from the terminal, where I can enter my root password. If I try to launch it from a run box then it doesn't work because it doesn't pop-up that password box.
I remember in my installation where I had started with the Xfce spin and customized, at some point while removing packages I think that happened and then I reinstalled the needed package(s). Probably some old-style stuff (now apps use that policykit dialog) that came with the red-hat tools.
Posting just in case anybody knows.

I didn't get beesu to work with that pop-up password box but I built this tiny ktsuss app and it's working fine so far.

It needed usermode-gtk
Already opened a bug report for that.
