Gnome 3 keeps loading the failback session
Hi All,
I'm trying to get Gnome 3 running (with the activity menu and window scaling), but it keeps going to the failback session for some reason. I wouldn't normally give up this early in the game but I'm not getting much in the way of error messages or google searches. The only error message that I have is in the .xsession-errors file:

There's nothing helpful in the Xorg error logs or the ring buffer or the syslog. Does anyone have any tips on where I could look? I'm using the nouveau drivers on an nVidia Corporation G84 [Quadro FX 570] card. I've also posted my glxinfo output below. Thanks!

Try the nvidia proprietary drivers instead.

If you go to Applications->System Tools->System Settings->System Info and click on Graphics, is Forced Fallback Mode set to On? If so, click on the On and it'll switch to off. Log out (don't have to reboot), and then log back in, and you should have what you're looking for.
