Slow mouse on ALPS touchpad.

Information
I am running Dell XPS m1530 on Fedora 16 Live USB.
BIOS is A12. Touchpad is ALPS

problem
When I booted Fedora for the first time yesterday, the mouse was slow, like 10x slower than normal. It was not slow as in unresponsive. It was slow as in "it takes about 20 swipes to move the mouse across the screen.". Changing the mouse settings did not change anything. However it did function for an external mouse.

I tested the USB on my sisters and my brothers PC (we all have identical PC's).
And it worked perfectly.

Any help Is appreciated. Thanks in advance.
