installing eclipse pdt

I want to install eclipse-pdt [i do'nt have original eclipse] .When i typed "yum install jre" .. it showed

"Loaded plugins: langpacks, presto, refresh-packagekit
Adding en_US to language list
Setting up Install Process
Package java-1.5.0-gcj-1.5.0.0-34.fc14.i686 already installed and latest version
Nothing to do"

so now how should i install eclipse-pdt? ..
when i type make it shows the following

"[sd_coolmego@coolmego eclipse-php]$ ls
about_files about.html artifacts.xml configuration eclipse-php eclipse-php.ini features libcairo-swt.so p2 plugins
[sd_coolmego@coolmego eclipse-php]$ make
make: *** No targets specified and no makefile found. Stop."
