Red face A stunning grasp of the obvious ...

Or, subtitled, Embarrassing personal epiphanies.

I don't know how many times I've clicked over to -- and referenced from -- the GnomeShell/CheatSheet since I first started messing around with F15 and discovered it.

Never quite had the time to completely read it, though. I was always in a hurry to get something done, and promised myself I'd go back and take a closer look later. Obviously, "later" never got here. And, to be completely honest, it still hasn't. But I did learn some nifty things today.

The first, and possibly the most interesting, is the Looking Glass Tool. Jeeze Louise, does that make a lot of things Gnome-troubleshooting a heck of a lot easier! The second really useful thing I discovered from that nifty bag of trix is the no-muss, no-fuss screen recorder.

Seriously? If you haven't gone over there and had a slow troll through it, it really is worth it. It just might save you from a forum post just as embarrassing as this one. <....>
