Exclamation Need Usbmodeswitch Rpm for Fedora 10.1

Hello All,

I have a usb modem, by a service provider, MTS.I was able to make this work in Ubuntu previously by installing switchmode deb package but not sure which package would work for this version of fedora 10.1 .I need to know the exact version of switchmode that is compatible.

so any help on this would be much appreciated.

Thanks All..

Re: Need Usbmodeswitch Rpm for Fedora 10.1

For 32 bit F10:
Code:
su
rpm -ivh http://archive.fedoraproject.org/pub/archive/fedora/linux/updates/10/i386/usb_modeswitch-1.0.5-1.fc10.i386.rpm
For 64 bit F10:
Code:
su
rpm -ivh http://archive.fedoraproject.org/pub/archive/fedora/linux/updates/10/x86_64/usb_modeswitch-1.0.5-1.fc10.x86_64.rpm
No guarantee it won't fail on missing dep(s), in which case, you'll need to download and install the deps first.

If by chance you have edited your F10 repo files to use the archives url's, then you could just do:
Code:
su
yum install usb_modeswitch
