Fedora 15:How to password protect a laptop wireless card step by step?

Hi folks:
I am very green with linux. I need to know how to step by step to protect my wireless card on my laptop from predators. I am using 32 bit fedora 15. When I installed fedora 15. I did not include the password protection to be included. Now I would like to add the password onto the nic wireless card. Can someone help me with this problem?
Thank you,
Rich
