files missing u+s on the permissions when building custom livecd

I've built a custom livecd. On my cd files like /lib*/dbus-1/dbus-daemon-launch-helper are owned by bin not root and the rws is rwx on the owner permission.


There are many files like this. Any ideas where I should start looking for the problem?

It may depend on how the CD is mounted.

If you booted it and that what is reported, then there may be a problem.

If you a viewing it via a normally mounted CD, then it may depend on the options used during the mount.

In most cases, a mounted CD will automatically be mounted nosetuid, nosetgid for security.
