Can LXDE save the current session?

Is there a way to make FC15 LXDE save the current session every time a user logs out?

Re: Can LXDE save the current session?

The F15 Gnome 3 live image that was released on May 24 would not
save changes with a persistent overlay so maybe the F15 LXDE spin
was also affected by the no persistence "bug".

What I did was use the "livecd-creator" tool to create a new F15 Gnome 3
spin with the latest updates and with the persistent overlay changes are
saved across reboots. I'm currently creating a F15 LXDE spin and will
see if the persistence works and save changes. Will report back as soon
as the d'load completes and it is installed to usb and tested.

Re: Can LXDE save the current session?

This 2010 article suggests that LXDE doesn't natively have the ability to save the current session:

Re: Can LXDE save the current session?

The F15 LXDE live iso that was released on May 24 couldn't save sessions even if it did have the ability as persistent overlay was non functional/broken and there was also a wireless(Atheros) problem using it on my laptop. I created a fresh F15 lxde live iso and persistence works for saving settings and my wireless card is now working.
