Setting up PXE server

I can't a good fedora guide to installing a bootable image server. I looked at cobbler but I'm not quite understanding it.

Using Fedora 13,

i tried this:
http://docs.fedoraproject.org/en-US/...ll-server.html
Quote:
cobblerd does not appear to be running/accessible
and this:
http://fedorasolved.org/Members/evil...m=fedora%20pxe

What my ultimate goal is to create bootable images of fedora and windows xp to serve to the desktops on my home network. I have a wired linksys router and a wireless accesspoint. I won't be broadcasting to the internet. I will also serve files through samba or ftp. Please help me. Thanks for reading.

Re: Setting up PXE server

You can try this one.

http://www.stanford.edu/~alfw/PXE-Ki...Kickstart.html

It's for RH, but should be pretty similar. Not familiar with cobbler, but basically, you need tftp

This one also seems useful.

Re: Setting up PXE server

Thanks for the info. I think I got dhcpd working now. I'm trying to figure out tftp now.
