hello,
i have read in release notes that F13 supports printers, by simply connecting printer via USB.
Does F13 provide support for CANON PRINTERS?
As far as i know CANON does provide linux printer drivers and no linux distros provide support for Canon printers.
The only factors which deterred me from using Fedora was it did not provide support for the following:
a. audio support for 3gp video formats
b. canon printers
The audio support for 3gp was provided by Fedora with the release of F12.
It would have been splendid if F13 provided support for all kinds of (both old and new) CANON Printers.
Presently, i still have to rely on windows for printing ( i use CANON iP 1200 inkjet). If F13 provided support for CANON printers, i could have a full fledged LINUX on my system and it would indeed be great to have a F E D O R A.
So please provide support for CANON printers in F13.
One more humble suggestion:
Please remove those (UGLY) window buttons which come by default from F12 release onwards. The F11/F10 window buttons (nodoka) was very good, and i am surprised to see that F13 doesn't have the Nodoka theme in its desktop appearance preference.
Please make F13 more appealing and beautiful to eyes. (Feature wise fedora is excellent, but please take into account those minute details like APPEARANCE, THEMES, Default DESKTOP WALL PAPER etc.)
Thanks
Kareth
