NVIDIA GeForce 310M Problems

Alright, after all the crap it took me to get F12 up and running (dealing with wi-fi issues and live-cd not having video drivers) I finally got it running. However, I can only use the generic F12 drivers for this video card and it really really sucks. Almost unusable for long periods of time because of the super low resolution it is forced into.

NVIDIA seems to only have linux drivers up thru the 200 series... no 300.
Do I have any other options here other than sit back and wait?? I have stopped using fedora in the mean time and am back on Windows 7... which looks nicer, but still.

If anyone has any ideas on how to get this laptop up and running properly I'd really appreciate the help!

Thanks.
