No more rawhide?
It looks like my repo's have been switched to fedora, instead of rawhide? I just did a yum search for something and it's loading the fedora/primary db.... Maybe that's how it's done, it's my first beta cycle. And if this doesn't belong in this thread, please feel free to delete or move it...

I updated the beta around 7PM New York time and I still have rawhide repos. Did you update using the new RC?

7pm NY time was about 3 hours ago, and mine was using the rawhide repo until (apparently) the last update about an hour or so ago (i.e. around 5-6pm pacific time). Not using the new RC (256k dsl connection, too slow for too many CD, nevermind a DVD download!); just a yum update from the beta.

I noticed that RPM Fusion was still pointed at rawhide, even though RPM Fusion F12 repos are available. I disabled rawhide and enabled F12 and F12 update, hope that's right for Fusion.

I just checked, I've got all updates, nothing new, these are my active repos:
Repos: Active yum repos in file: /etc/yum.repos.d/adobe-linux-i386.repo
adobe-linux-i386 ~ http://linuxdownload.adobe.com/linux/i386/
Active yum repos in file: /etc/yum.repos.d/fedora-updates.repo
updates ~ https://mirrors.fedoraproject.org/metalink?repo=updates-released-f$releasever&arch=$basearch
Active yum repos in file: /etc/yum.repos.d/fedora.repo
fedora ~ https://mirrors.fedoraproject.org/metalink?repo=fedora-$releasever&arch=$basearch
Active yum repos in file: /etc/yum.repos.d/livna.repo
livna ~ http://rpm.livna.org/mirrorlist
Active yum repos in file: /etc/yum.repos.d/rpmfusion-free-rawhide.repo
rpmfusion-free-rawhide ~ http://mirrors.rpmfusion.org/mirrorlist?repo=free-fedora-rawhide&arch=$basearch
Active yum repos in file: /etc/yum.repos.d/rpmfusion-nonfree-rawhide.repo
rpmfusion-nonfree-rawhide ~ http://mirrors.rpmfusion.org/mirrorlist?repo=nonfree-fedora-rawhide&arch=$basearch
Your right, my rawhide repos are deactivated, just rpmfusion remain.
Are there F12 specific rpmfusion repos? Or are they still rawhide?
Edit: just saw last post...

 Demz, thanks for the links.
So far, so good...one hour with F12 RC, no problems, iBus is happy, 2 cores with 3 GB of RAM...life is good.
Installed aide, dsniff, logwatch, wireshark, and xosview...and updating information on #fedora-qa

Are there links to the new yum configuration files for the F12 rpmfusion repos?

LiveCD/Spins RCs?
Do the LiveCDs and Spins get release candidates? I had a problem with LXDE Beta 2, posted a bug that I'm not sure was fixed, and wanted to see if it would work for me.

pescobar, thank you for your post.
Not sure about a LXDE RC, but I saw this in one of the subdirectories -
http://alt.fedoraproject.org/pub/alt...composes/lxde/
Hope this helps.
