A drive light keeps comming on

My a drive light used to come on when i pluged in my camra and such, i have recently been trying to install cedega (i mention this cuz i typed in my root pasword not %100 what was going on) and well now everyonce in a while my a drive light comes on and my computer stalls. Any idea why this is happening anyone?

no one has any ideas, i think it has something to do with the mouse being decteded and undecteded off and on anyone else have a problem like this
