How don't use default driver build-in vmlinuz when installing?

HI,all
I have a question:
In Fedora Core 10, the SCSI module and AHCI module are build-in kernel.
Is there any methods to do that disable default driver in kernel and use custom module when install?

Can you give suggests to me?
Thanks a lot.
