NVIDIA legacy proprietary drivers on NVIDIA GeForce4 420 Go (Toshiba) Toshiba TE2100

Hi,

I've been using my Toshiba TE2100 (with a GeForce4 420 Go (Toshiba) 16MB) under Fedora for a while, and the nv driver has served me well, until I discovered that it doesn't support the monitor-out on my laptop, and since nouveau works very slowly on it, I decided to install the proprietary NVIDIA legacy drivers. I installed akmod-nvidia-96xx on it and it installs fine, and Fedora boots fine until the X server tries to start. It repeatedly flickers, but faintly since the backlight washes the flicker out, but it flickers, and I have no idea why it's doing this. Everything installed fine, but it just doesn't want to work. Otherwise, it all works fine.

Any help is appreciated. =)
