How to mount DVD-RW Fedora 10, Notebook Dell 1420

im using dell 1420. but couldnt mount the dvd-rw. i have tried to search for solution. i got to know that, we must edit, fstab file.

but im not sure how and what to edit. please help. here i attached the fstab log.

check if /dev/scd* exists via

ls -AL /dev/scd*

For me it returns

/dev/scd0

and my pending entry in /etc/fstab is:

/dev/scd0       /media/cdrom0   udf,iso9660 user,noauto,exec,utf8 0       0

It's build like that:

/dev/source    /target/mountpoint filesystemtypes various,options,encoding 0 0

Note: Target mount point must exist, so do if it doesn't exist allready do

su -c mkdir -p /target/mountpoint; su -c chmod 644 /target/mountpoint
