Change "password expire" text?

Hi,

how can i change the login message text "Warning: your password will expire in x days" on a RedHat Linux?

I want to make it more garishly.
For example, print red '*' above and under...

i dont know if i am providing the correct message but the must be a set setting just like in other OS's.

I'm not sure about your warning message.. are you using text mode login?
You can edit file /etc/motd and add you text here. It will be displayed every time you login.

About password expiration, if you are in graphical mode run(root): system-config-users
Double click on user -> Password info -> Enable password expiration(uncheck)

i think he is trying to change the display colors of the text message.....its not the he is getting an experation message, that is how i see it.

When users log in via ssh and their password age has expired, they get only one line. f.e.:

Warning: your password will expire in 7 days

Thats all, and after their account is locked 7 days later, everybody tells me "i haven't seen any warning message"....

So i want to make the warning text (textmode, not graphical) more noticeable. f.e.:

  Warning: your password will expire in 7 days
      Please change it with /usr/bin/passwd
************************************************

/etc/motd (method of the day) is not the right place, because as you discriped, it displays the text on every login, not only when the password will expire.
